  Our Philosophy

We believe that superior selling requires a careful fusion of art and science, and it is upon this philosophy that we structure our approach.  Our framework of connectedness and communication is designed to help clients focus upon the truly important issues that deserve their attention and rise above the tide of "urgent" distractions that constantly threatens to overwhelm us.  Whether it is in our process oriented work around metrics, systems, and procedures or our application of artistic flair to people, culture, and  strengths, Synaptic’s mission is to help you develop and maintain the right people, processes and technologies to reach new goals and establish a culture where extraordinary performance is an ordinary occurrence.

Our View on Augmentation:  We know that your teams are comprised of intelligent,  talented people who work extremely hard to do the right things, but chances are these folks are so engrossed in what they are doing on a daily basis that it is often difficult for them to take a step back to see larger patterns, challenges, and opportunities.   So while we don’t claim to be smarter or more skilled than your resources, we do have the benefit of approaching issues from a fresh and unencumbered perspective.  As a result we can offer new insights, share lessons learned from other industry leaders, and provide a dispassionate assessment of your situation.

Our View on Process Centricity:
While we firmly believe that having a strong, process based culture is crucial to any successful Sales organization, we also recognize that many sales people can be adverse to corporately mandated structures.  Having deep backgrounds in both traditional management consulting and sales, we have developed a unique approach to implementing and indoctrinating process oriented structure into Sales organizations in a very natural, sales friendly way.  As a result, Synaptic customers can expect dramatically improved adoption of shared sales methodologies and higher levels of "ownership" from their teams.

Our View on Strengths:  Because we believe that extraordinary performance can only be realized by leveraging one’s intrinsic talents, Synaptic employs a strengths-based approach to all of our work.  This entails identifying core individual and organizational strengths, determining how they contribute to the company’s successes, and then building a plan to help exercise and leverage those strengths to drive successful performance.

Our View on Metrics:  We have all heard the adage "What gets measured gets done", and while consistent collection and management of metrics data is a positive step to improving performance, on its own, it is not a magic elixir.  To catalyze your transformation to an adaptive, information driven Sales organization, Synaptic’s Metrics Waterfall SM process ensures that you have key stakeholder buy in around what to measure, when to measure it and how to convert the data being collected into meaningful and actionable plans.

Our View on Strategy:  In today’s "On Demand" world we are asked to make decisions at an unnaturally rapid pace, shift directions on a dime, and juggle untold numbers of important initiatives.  Amidst this flurry of activity and deafening stream of static, it is a wonder any of us are able to decide what to work on next.   To ensure that your team knows what to do and when to do it, Synaptic will help you build strategic initiatives that have clear messaging, well defined responsibilities, logical check points to assess progress, and measurable outcomes.

Our View on Technology:  Though most of today’s CRM platforms are battle tested and hardened, few companies have realized the full potential of their systems.   We believe that this problem persists because too few companies have focused on how to solve their underlying issues around process, tool adoption and effectiveness, and without a firm grasp on these critical factors, "rip and replace" strategies are unlikely to provide a solution.  Synaptic focuses on helping you make your current systems deliver better results and, if appropriate identifying areas where your technology is unable to facilitate optimal processes or provide the requisite levels of usability so that you can make modifications to your current environment or investigate alternative platforms.
