This Long Island family posed the challenge of reinventing their rarely used living room and formal dining room space. With two young children and a dog, this family rarely entertained formally and spent most of their time in their kitchen and den. They wanted a fun, novelty style room that fit their personalities and a place for dad and his friends to enjoy. The result: A wild western style saloon!
By eliminating the large dining table and replacing it with two small café tables the room becomes a multifunctional and inviting place for the family to eat or relax in. The café tables can be pushed together to create more seating while the bar doubles as a credenza for serving. The mirror and trim work add to the look of a wild western saloon, while the warm colors and wood finishes create an inviting fun room for the family to use all throughout the year.
